This oil painting depicts Odessa. She can communicate with the clouds and stars. She had a pet Raven named Umbra (Latin for Shadow). She was born in 1869 and died at age 34 in 1903 when she was struck by lighting.
Elowen Thorne, the Earth & Healer
This oil painting depicts Elowen. She could create potions and tonics to heal the locals' ailments. She was born in 1818 and died in 1865, age 47. She died mysteriously in her garden- possible poisoning! She could create potions and tonics to heal the locals' ailments. Iris Thorne is her descendant, who disappeared in 1947 at age 19.
Elizabeth Moore, The Moon Witch
The Witches in Whisper Hollow would often wander the streets late at night in search of dark secrets, hidden agendas and even hushed lovers...She is said to be the mysterious, 6th Witch in the Circle. Roxie Shaw is a descendant of Moore. She was born in 1815 and died in 1861, age 46.
Morgana Dell, the Tarot / Palm Reader
Morgana is 28 years old and currently lives in Whisper Hollow and just opened a small shop in town where she offers tarot card and palm readings. She soon becomes friends with Olivia and together they try to solve the mystery.
The extremely rare Bloodroot Nightshade
The first Bloodroot Nightshade was planted by the first witch of Whisper Hollow. Since then, the flower only blooms during a tragedy .
Roxie Dell-Shaw, Olivia's Mother
(1965-2020, age 55) Olivia’s mother. A secret witch with a secret ring. She has the gift of SIGHT, direct descendent of Elizabeth Moore (Moon). She had blacksmith, Wendell Briggs, to create a matching ring for her daughter Olivia when she found out she was pregnant.

The Witches Ring design has been passed down since the 1800s. Roxie had two made from Meteoric Iron, a rare metal that only comes from meteorites. King Tut's dagger was made from this metal! It has a secret message in the inscription...

The last Blacksmith for Whisper Hollow.
(1918-1999, age 81) Forged a 2nd ring for Roxie in 1990 when she discovered she was pregnant with Olivia (born 1991).

Whisper Hollow Sheriff Grayson Holt
Grayson appreciates Olivia's help closing some century-old cold cases. Being one of the two only police in town is no easy job. The small town doesn't have the funding to investigate these cases, so Olivia is a blessing for him. Her determination is contagious.
Beatrice "Bea" Sinclair, owner of Bea's Book Haven
Bea acquired the bookstore in 1980 and has now owned & operated the store for over four decades. She loves the excitement of helping Olivia with cold cases.
Walt Davenport manages the Whisper Hollow Historical Society
Bird watcher, Amateur botanist, Jack of all trades- Walt loves helping Olivia investigate crime scenes and researching the past for clues.
Callum "Cal" Henshaw
Cal currently owns the Whisper Hollow Chronicle. He took over the newspaper in 2000. He is passionate about journalism and uncovering the truth. He has his eye on Olivia, and she is smitten with him.
Margot Devereaux owner of The Daily Grind Coffehouse
Margot moved to Whisper Hollow from Rouen, France in 2013 and purchased the building for her coffee shop. She keeps a hidden book where she logs local gossip and dark secrets. She has a tattoo that depicts the same design in Olivia's special ring.
Maggie Hall, professional photographer
Maggie Hall (1987-current, age 36) She specializes in enhancement and restoration of photographs. She grew up Whisper Hollow, then left to work in NYC. She currently moved back to Whisper Hollow and is a sounding board for Olivia and helps analyze and enhance crime scene photographs
Dr. Neve Blackbird
Dr. Blackbird has roots from the Nipmuc Nation- whose knowledge of herbs and natural healing techniques. She has a beautiful home where she guides her patients with wisdom, psychic energies, crystals and powerful tonics.
Vivian Hawthorne owner of The Mariner's Inn since 1974.
Her father, Benjamin Hawthorne, purchased the building at age 26. She never married an some call her a recluse. Olivia rents her cabin from Vivian. Vivian recently discovered that her father was involved in the disappearance of two people in 1901. (See book 1: A Ghost's Calling -click on link)

Dr. Evelyn "Evie" Harrow works at the Historical Society with Walt
Age 45 in 2023, She works with Walt at the WHHS. She is the Scholar with Secrets. A well-respected historian originally from a big University, but moved back to WH.
Jasmine Berwick
Jasmine Berwick (1974-1997, age 23) Jasmine drowned during the horrible storm Whisper Hollow residents termed the Great Halloween Nor’ Easter. She is a descendant of Griselle Berwick the Water Witch (1868-1897, age 29). Some claim she was “called” to the murky waves of Sea Glass Cove, same as Griselle once was. But is there more to the story?
